Universal Package Systems Expanding Possibilities With Custom Dimension, Cut and Welded Bulk Containers

DALE, IN (December 15, 2009) – Universal Package Systems has expanded its bulk container and tote cut and weld capabilities, and is now producing a wide variety of custom containers based entirely on customer demands.

One of the more recent containers designed and produced in close collaboration with a Universal Package Systems’ customer includes a 108 inch long x 48 inch wide x 44 inch tall bulk container with two drop doors, being used to store and ship large tents and tent poles. Universal’s capabilities have been expanded with the companies recent purchase and installation of an additional hot plate welder.

By customizing the size of the container specifically for the application, the customer was able to maximize the use of all cubic storage area, and effectively reduce storage and shipping costs. Universal uses standard size plastic bulk bins to build new containers with widths ranging from 12” to 48”, and to virtually any length or height. Unlike off-the-shelf containers, Universal can also incorporate drop doors, open walls, and solid walls on any or all sides of the containers, in any combination.
