WWL Earns Recognition as John Deere “Partner-level Supplier ”
(Lysaker, Norway -- February 7, 2011) Wallenius Wilhelmsen Logistics (WWL) has earned recognition as a Partner-level supplier for 2010 in the John Deere Achieving Excellence Program. The Partner-level status is Deere & Company’s highest supplier rating. The Norway-based company was selected for the honour in recognition of its dedication to providing products and service of outstanding quality as well as its commitment to continuous improvement. WWL will accept the recognition during formal ceremonies held on 1 March in Davenport, Iowa (USA).
WWLis a supplier of ocean transportation and logistics services to John Deere’s operations globally. WWL is engaged in the movement and logistics management for John Deere’s finished goods across six continents in all of the major markets where its products are sold.

John Deere Supply Management created the program in 1991 to provide a supplier evaluation and feedback process that promotes continuous improvement.
