Zayo Expands Agent Sales Channel Offering

LOUISVILLE, Colo. – August 30, 2012 – Zayo announces the expansion of products offered through the Agent sales channel to include colocation and interconnect services provided by zColo, its carrier-neutral colocation and interconnect focused business. Through its acquisition of AboveNet, Zayo gained a prominent position in the Agent community with the addition of its Channel program.

The addition of zColo’s products and services join Ethernet, Wavelength and IP products. zColo’s product offerings include space, power, risers, and Metro Interconnect, zColo’s newest product offering. Metro Interconnect uniquely provides in-market Dark Fiber cross-connects between major Data Centers and Carrier Hotels.

The Agent community will now have access to all of zColo’s 20 carrier-neutral facilities in markets such as the NY/NJ metro, Pittsburgh, Nashville, Memphis, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Columbus, Minneapolis, Las Vegas, Chicago, Los Angeles, Boston, Philadelphia, Washington, D.C., Baltimore, Dallas and Seattle.

“Zayo is committed to the Agent program, and we believe selling zColo’s product suite through this channel will be productive for Zayo and profitable for our channel partners,” states Chris Morley, President of zColo. “Colocation and interconnection services are a natural extension to the Bandwidth Infrastructure products they already sell”.

In support of zColo products for the Agent program, Zayo will be dedicating resources to support Agents and their customer relationships. Zayo will continue to utilize current Master Agents, but is also seeking new Agents with competency in Colocation Infrastructure Services to focus on colocation and interconnect opportunities.
