Long Beach's March traffic in line with expectations

Container volume at the Port of Long Beach declined 26.2 percent in March, as expected, because the traffic was measured against the busiest month of 2015. However, laden container exports were flat, which is an encouraging sign for the months ahead because it could signal a turnaround for U.S. exports after they declined for two consecutive years.
