Jaxport Presses On With Mile Point Project Fix

If the Mile Point project, which would fix problems preventing fully loaded container ships from calling at the Port of Jacksonville most of the day, doesn’t get federal authorization soon, Jaxport is prepared to take on the $38 million fix itself, using state money and getting reimbursement from the U.S. when WRDA passes.
