Facing more regulation, US trucking lobby doubles down on safety message

The largest U.S. trucking advocacy group will redouble efforts to convince legislators, regulators and the general public that trucking is safe and getting safer, while pursuing changes to truck driver hours of service rules and other regulations that hinder rather than help trucking, American Trucking Associations President and CEO Bill Graves said.
